- Fab Standard License
- One seat for each person who uses DAWntless
Music production inside Unreal Engine: MIDI and audio tracks in Sequencer, instruments you play and automate, and TheRaK, a device rack whose racks also play in your game.
Write, record, automate and mix music where your game is built, then hear it play in the game itself.
MIDI and audio tracks in Sequencer with a tempo-aware transport: tempo changes, quantize, MIDI file import and export, and recording from your MIDI controller in Overdub or Replace takes.
Automate a MIDI track’s instrument and effects in Unreal’s Curve Editor, with lanes grouped by device and their ranges and units. Automation plays in the editor, in PIE and in packaged games.
A cable-free device rack: the order of the devices is the routing. Jam and mix several chains, print each one to Sequencer, and play saved racks in your game through the TheRaK Performer component.
A 64-pad sample drum machine. Fill pads from the Content Browser, shape each sound, and start from eight factory kits made from the engine’s built-in sounds.
A step sequencer with up to three notes per step, per-note lengths you drag, and Drum Mode: one lane per DrumKing pad, with probability and ratchets.
A sixteen-pad FM drum machine and pattern editor with swing, chance and ratchets. Shape kits and write the rhythm as editable MIDI.
An acid bass with accents, slides and ties in a sixteen-slot pattern bank. Print phrases to a track or play it in TheRaK with its own sequencer.
A polyphonic wavetable and granular synth: up to 16 voices, two envelopes, two LFOs, a modulation matrix, waveshaper, resonant filter, chorus and delay.
A tempo-synced stutter and glitch effect. Draw repeat, reverse, tape stop, crush, gate and more on 11 lanes, with repeats down to 1/256 and 12 patterns per bank.
Turn a MetaSound into a TheRaK instrument or effect. The Device Validator checks it, renders it offline and registers it for + Add Device. No C++ needed.
Every window lives inside the Unreal Editor. Select a screen to see it full size.

Thumpr’s sixteen drum voices, adapted for the browser. Change the beat, mute or solo a lane, then tune the sound.
Tap a pad to audition. Tap a step to toggle and select it. Shape the selected voice and step below.
Thumpr needs JavaScript to play. Turn it on in your browser, then reload this page.
Built from Thumpr. Its voice recipes, pad order, voice controls and pattern workflow, adapted for the browser. On a phone, the grid shows the selected pad’s lane: tap a pad to switch lanes.
Part of DAWntless. In Unreal, Thumpr adds kits, pattern banks and the Tools jam, and writes your rhythm as MIDI into a Level Sequence. This web unit keeps one pattern in memory; refresh to start again.
Copy the plugin into your project, open it, and start from the demos.
DAWntless is sold on Fab, Epic’s marketplace, under the Fab Standard License. Each person who uses it needs a seat.

Per seat, under the Fab Standard License: each person who uses DAWntless needs a license. Personal is $149.99, for buyers whose company group earned up to $100,000 from digital-content work in the last 12 months; Professional is $299.99.
The Fab Standard License sets the terms: games and projects you make with DAWntless ship its runtime under that license. Racks reach a packaged game as printed tracks in a Level Sequence or through the TheRaK Performer component, and the playback sounds are registered with the cooker for you.
DAWntless 1.0 is for Unreal Engine 5.8 and is tested on Windows (Win64). Other engine versions and platforms are not supported yet.
In the Content Browser, enable Show Plugin Content and open DAWntless Content. Demos holds the demo map and Techno_Rulez; Examples holds the instruments, effects and racks, one folder per device. Keep your own work in your project’s Content folder.
Yes. Build the sound as a MetaSound Patch that declares a DAWntless interface. The Device Validator checks it, renders it offline and registers it, and it appears in + Add Device under User. No C++ is needed.
DAWntless will be sold on Fab; the listing is not live yet. Studios buy their seats on Fab too. For onboarding, priority support or custom work, email support@invisibleartforms.com.
